Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and organization details. If you are an agency administrator, we also collect your business name and contact information.
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, and session duration. This helps us improve the platform experience.
Document Data
Documents uploaded for translation are processed securely. We store document content only for the duration needed to complete the translation workflow and as required by your organization’s retention settings.
How We Use Your Information
Service Delivery
We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve our translation platform services, process your translation requests, and communicate with you about your account.
Platform Improvement
Aggregated, anonymized usage data helps us understand how our platform is used and identify areas for improvement. We never use your document content for training AI models.
Communication
We may send you service-related notifications, security alerts, and updates about changes to our platform or policies. You can manage your notification preferences in your account settings.
Data Security
Encryption
All data transmitted to and from FlyingPapers is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Documents and sensitive information are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.
Access Controls
We implement strict role-based access controls. Only authorized personnel can access your data, and all access is logged and monitored.
Infrastructure
Our infrastructure is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud providers with SOC 2 compliance. We conduct regular security audits and penetration testing.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
Service Providers
We work with carefully selected third-party service providers for hosting, analytics, and email delivery. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and can only use it to provide services on our behalf.
No Selling of Data
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information or document content to third parties for marketing or any other purpose.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of FlyingPapers, our users, or the public.
Your Rights
Access & Portability
You have the right to access, download, or request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. Contact us to request a data export.
Correction & Deletion
You can update your account information at any time. You may also request the deletion of your account and associated data, subject to any legal retention requirements.
Consent Withdrawal
Where processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Data Retention
Account Data
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we may retain certain data for up to 30 days for backup purposes before permanent removal.
Document Data
Translated documents are retained according to the retention policy configured by your organization’s administrator. Default retention period is 90 days after project completion.
Log Data
Server and access logs are retained for 12 months for security monitoring and troubleshooting purposes, after which they are automatically purged.
Cookies & Tracking
Essential Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and ensure the security of your account. These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how our platform is used. We do not use invasive tracking technologies or share analytics data with advertisers.

İşlenen Kişisel Veriler & Amaçlar
Platforma yüklenen belgeler burs başvurusu, üniversite kabul dosyaları ve resmi kimlik belgeleri gibi yüksek gizlilik gerektiren bilgiler içerebilmektedir. Bu belgeler yalnızca çeviri hizmetinin sunulması amacıyla işlenmekte; pazarlama, profil oluşturma veya üçüncü taraflara satış gibi başka amaçlarla kullanılmamaktadır.
Yapay Zeka & Üçüncü Taraf Aktarımı
Çeviri sürecini hızlandırmak amacıyla belgeleriniz, gizlilik sözleşmesi kapsamındaki yapay zeka API sağlayıcılarına iletilebilmektedir. Bu sağlayıcılar belgelerinizi model eğitiminde kullanamaz — bu, hizmet sözleşmemizin bağlayıcı koşuludur. İşlem tamamlandıktan sonra giriş verileri kalıcı olarak silinir. Yurt dışına aktarım, KVKK m.9 (1 Eylül 2024 Yönetmeliği) kapsamında standart sözleşme hükümleri ve/veya açık rıza ile gerçekleştirilmektedir. Yapay zeka işlemini istemiyorsanız yalnızca insan çevirisini tercih edebilirsiniz.
KVKK Kapsamındaki Haklarınız (m.11)
Kişisel verileriniz üzerinde erişim, düzeltme, silme, işlemeye itiraz ve veri taşınabilirliği haklarına sahipsiniz. Rızanızı istediğiniz zaman geri çekebilirsiniz. Talepleriniz en geç 30 gün içinde yanıtlanır. Başvurularınız için: info@flyingpapers.com
Şikâyet hakkı: Başvurunuz yanıtsız kalırsa veya yetersiz bulunursa, cevabı öğrendiğiniz tarihten itibaren 30 gün içinde Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu (kvkk.gov.tr) başvurabilirsiniz.
